KTT Story

Working in a one-person piano rebuilding shop and needing a way to safely move and store ongoing projects, The KTT Grand Mover was born out of necessity. Development of our Flagship KTT Grand Mover began in 2011. An industry first, it revolutionized the way we think about moving Grand Pianos with safety for both the instrument and the movers being the top priority. The concept, which began decades earlier using nothing but hardware store materials and bottle jacks, was rejuvenated, upgraded and brought to life thanks to newly acquired TIG welding experience. Together with "Old School" machining skills, production of the powerful hydraulic machine came into being and has empowered many to move with safety and security. Since then, many other ideas have made the transition from concept to working models and products. With the popularity of all things electrical, the KTT Grand Mover has also made its transition from a hydraulic system to being powered with electrical actuators.

Rounding out his interests is his passion for aviation.

He holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate in both Single and Multi-engine aircraft, is instrument rated and is a Certified Flight Instructor. In addition, he enjoys flying Gliders and is an avid Skydiver. When not in the workshop, he can be found flying his Van’s RV-8 aircraft.
